End the summer with a bang!

A Kickass bang from two hot authors!
But first a note from this horribly stressed author, who, considering the wild and crazy storms hitting our coastline, doesn't have any real reason to complain. But, since you popped onto this site, I'll tell you anyway. I'm still putting the final polish on that book I finished almost two weeks ago. Why the delay? Well, things are hot and hopping at my house with A/C woes, broken toilets, flooded attics, and self-destructing closets, which are all currently in the process of being fixed at last...I hope.
Now about KICKASS! Whoa baby! The blurbs say it all. Angela Knight in WARFEM and Mary Janice Davidson in THE MISADVENTURES OF BOO AND THE BOY BLUNDER deliver one hot ride!

Warfem” featured in KICK ASS by Angela Knight
(Berkeley Trade, September 2005)
They're sexy. They're smart. And they aren't afraid of a little danger-not even when it comes to matters of the heart... Four of today's hottest authors present a quartet of stories about bold women who take no prisoners-either in a fight or in love. Whether it's in the bedroom, in the outer limits of the galaxy, or out on the mean streets, they kick heart-stopping action to the next level. These are women who can hold their own and aren't to be trifled with. The men in their lives know that-and they love it...

In “Warfem,” Alina Kasi reunites with her lover Baird Arvid after two decades apart. Passion instantly blazes between the two superhuman warriors, but old enemies and new lies may tear them apart. And Alina dreads what Baird will do when he finds out about the secret she’s been keeping for the past twenty years. But she soon discovers she’s not the only one keeping secrets.

The Very Heart of Paranormal Romance and oh so Hot, too!

Big celebration in order here! Something that I have been wanting to do since I won the Golden Heart for Paranormal romance in 2002, I have finally accomplished. I wrote THE END to my first paranormal contemporary book that will hit the shelves in July 06, but that doesn't mean it is over. After THE END there is still a great deal of work to be done to make the story great. And here's one author who did it right. If you haven't met her yet, you need to. And if you haven't read her yet, you need to! Gina Showalter!
Paranormal Romance opens up vast worlds for authors to stretch their imagination and delve into conflict rarely believable in the ordinary world.
Gena Showalter cuts to the heart in her paranormal romance, Heart of the Dragon. How much stickier can it get to have a hero desire the very woman is he sworn to kill!!! Brava, Gina!
HEART OF THE DRAGON by Gena Showalter
